Information We Collect
To operate the service effectively, we collect the following minimum information:
- Device & App Data: Anonymous user IDs and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to enable real-time matching, group chats, and deliver push notifications.
- Usage Data: Basic status indicators (e.g., searching, chatting) and visit/message counts for your shared links.
- Web Sender IDs: Anonymous identifiers assigned when someone submits a message via your shared web link, used strictly for spam prevention and blocking functionality.
- Group Chat Data: When participating in Group Rooms, basic profile information (such as your chosen display name) and the messages/media you send within the group are temporarily processed and stored.
Information We Do Not Collect
We respect your privacy by not collecting personal or sensitive information:
No names
No phone numbers
No email addresses
No precise location data
No personal profiles
Message Privacy & Storage
How we handle messages depends on the feature you are using:
- Live Anonymous Chat (1-on-1): Messages are processed only for real-time delivery. We do not maintain chat history or logs for live chats once the session ends.
- Group Chat Features: Messages and shared media sent inside public group rooms are stored securely in our database so that participants can view them. Group messages are actively monitored by our backend systems to enforce UGC policies, and older messages are routinely purged from our servers to minimize data retention. Room administrators have the ability to delete entire groups.
- MyLink Inbox (Shared Links): Messages sent to your customized MyLink via the web are stored securely in our database so you can read them in your Inbox tab. You have full control to permanently delete individual messages or delete your entire link at any time.
User-Generated Content (UGC) & Safety
We have a zero-tolerance policy for abusive behavior, hate speech, and cyberbullying. To comply with Google Play's UGC policies and keep our community safe:
- Automated Safety Filter: MyLink and Group Chat messages are automatically scanned by our backend filter. Content containing severe profanity, hate speech, slurs, or self-harm encouragement is blocked or sanitized with asterisks before delivery.
- Block & Report System: You can block specific anonymous senders to prevent them from sending further messages. In Group Chats, you can flag any individual message using our dedicated "Report" feature, detailing the reason (e.g., Spam, Harassment, Hate Speech).
- Admin Moderation: Group room creators and assigned admins have exclusive access to a moderation panel where they can review user reports, remove and permanently ban offending users from the group, and delete inappropriate content.
- Message Deletion: You can delete any objectionable messages directly from your personal Inbox or your own messages from a group room.
Users found violating our safety guidelines may have their access to the app permanently suspended.
Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to run our app securely:
- Google Firebase: Used for database hosting, analytics, and push notifications.
- Supabase: Used to securely host and synchronize the Group Chat infrastructure in real-time.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: Used on our web links to verify users are human and prevent bot spam.
How We Use Information
The limited information we collect is used strictly for:
- Connecting users
- Maintaining service functionality
- Ensuring platform safety and preventing misuse
Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service. Inactive user data is automatically deleted after a reasonable period.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. Your information is used solely for operating the service, except where required by law.
Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
User Safety
We provide tools to help maintain a safe environment, including the ability to block or report users who violate our guidelines.

Our service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
